New IBRBS Mentor Moments for 2026 are Here!

The busiest time of year may be over, but for a professional Christmas Performer, February is officially “Business Season.” While the reindeer are enjoying their well-earned rest, it is the perfect time for us to get back to work, ensuring your 2026 season is your most successful and inclusive one yet. We are thrilled to announce the return of our Mentor Moment series with two great sessions to kick off the year.

The Business of Being Santa February 19, 2026 | 8:00 PM ET

Join IBRBS CFO Ann Donley and George Grasic for a deep dive into the logistical side of the Red Suit. This session is designed for performers who want to treat their craft with professional precision. Ann and George will share their expertise on the essential systems every performer needs, from managing expenses to planning for a sustainable year ahead. If you are looking to transition from a hobbyist to a pro—or just want to tighten up your existing operations—this is a must-attend event for the modern performer.

Breaking Barriers with ASL March 19, 2026 | 8:00 PM ET

Inclusion is the greatest gift of all, and we are honored to host Paul Burke, a renowned professional Santa, for this vital conversation. Paul has dedicated his career to ensuring every child feels heard and seen during the holidays, regardless of how they communicate. In this session, Paul will provide an introductory look into American Sign Language (ASL) and discuss the importance of accessibility in professional performance. You might be surprised to find that you already use many motions and gestures that can help you connect with the Deaf or Hard of Hearing community right now. By leaning into these natural expressions, Paul will show you how to master key holiday greetings and basic interactions that create a more inclusive world for everyone.

How to Register

Registration is now open for both sessions. Please visit the Mentor Moments Page to secure your spot and receive the meeting details. We look forward to seeing you there as we continue to elevate the profession together.

Regards,
Your Mentor Moments Team
