Ed Taylor-Why & How to Become a Multi-Platform Santa

The world of being Santa is changing fast, and that’s exactly what Santa Ed Taylor discovered when he built his Multi-Platform SantaTM business. Instead of relying only on December gigs, mall photos, parties, and parades, he realized there were ways to stay booked and busy all year long. With digital media, virtual visits, and social platforms, today’s Santas can reach families worldwide, not just in their local town.

Ed took that idea and ran with it, creating seven different income streams that brought in over $43,000 in 2025. He mixed traditional in-person visits with Zoom calls, personalized video greetings, social media content, and brand collaborations. He even started teaching other Santas how to do the same through online workshops and courses. By spreading his presence across platforms—Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and beyond—he turned a once-seasonal job into a full-fledged business.
