Interest in Running:

I want to run because I believe IBRBS can be more than what it currently is. I respect the history and the work that got us here, but I also believe our industry is changing, quickly. We need an organization that grows with it. I want IBRBS to operate like a true professional association — not just a social group — with higher standards, stronger representation, stronger reputation, and a focus on the future of this profession.

I know that means shaking things up. I’m not interested in keeping things the way they’ve always been just because “that’s how we’ve always done it.” I want IBRBS to be relevant, credible, modern, ethical, and welcoming. Not divided. Not stuck. And not limited by outdated thinking.

I’m running because I believe we can build something better — and I want to help lead that forward.

Background

I am a mechanical systems engineer who has worked in both small business environments and major global aerospace corporations. I’ve supported military, government, and commercial aviation programs, including some of the most advanced aircraft systems in the world. Claus Enterprises is my first personal business, and I’m still in the trenches building it — which means I understand the real struggle that small business Santas and Mrs. Clauses face trying to grow and turn vision into reality.

I tend to see what something can become long before the structure exists to support it. I think in systems and in future positioning. I connect trends, technology, culture, and practical steps to drive forward motion. My ideas are often larger than the available resources, but I’ve learned how to break big vision into realistic phases so it can actually get done.

I’ve led in volunteer organizations like Toastmasters, in my church communities, and in Walk to Emmaus. I’ve been a Santa performer for three years — long enough to understand the real concerns and cultural issues within this field, but still young enough in the craft to bring energy, modern thinking, and a long runway ahead to contribute.
