I’m honored to seek a position on the IBRBS Board of Directors to give back to the brotherhood that has enriched my life. Portraying Santa transformed who I am, and I want to help others experience that same joy and purpose. Drawing from my leadership in the U.S. Navy, decades as a professional truck driver, and commitment to community service, I aim to strengthen member support, promote professionalism, and expand year-round goodwill. I believe in, and I want to help IBRBS continue growing as a respected and inspiring organization for all Santas.

Background

I began portraying Santa five years ago after retiring from a 30-year career as a professional truck driver and 13 years of service in the U.S. Navy. What started as a seasonal mall job with Cherry Hill that quickly became a calling. Since then, I’ve appeared at community events, reindeer farms, schools, charity fundraisers, and private visits across the Pacific Northwest. Known as “Santa Thom,” I share the Christmas spirit year-round—spreading joy, kindness, and faith through storytelling, photos, and outreach. My experience has shaped me into a compassionate, dependable Santa who serves with heart, humor, and genuine love for people of all ages.
