What You Need to Know for 2026–2027
- Active Membership Required: You must be an active IBRBS member in good standing (with paid dues for the current membership year) to purchase liability insurance and order a background check through our group program.

- Flexible Options: Coverage available for single performers, performing couples, and assistants, complete with easy online application and immediate certificate generation upon approval.
- Background Checks:
- Includes a $7.50 membership discount.
- Completed securely through our trusted third-party screening partner.
- Required by many insurance policies, venues, and event management agencies.
- Standard turnaround time is fast, but we recommend ordering early to avoid pre-season backlogs.
How to Get Started
- Log In to Your Member Portal: Head over to IBRBS.org and log in with your member credentials.
- Verify Your Membership: Ensure your membership is active for the 2026–2027 year.
- Submit Your Order: Navigate to the Insurance & Background Checks section under your member dashboard to complete your application, select optional riders, and apply for your backgound check.
